About this Project

Trip Focus: Food support, kids ministry, basic construction and maintenance

We are taking a team of volunteers on an exciting trip to Fort Chipewyan, AB in partnership with All Nations Church. Fort Chipewyan in Northern Alberta is home to an indigenous community.

As part of the volunteer team, you will have the opportunity to help with food hamper prep and distribution and to help with some basic projects around the site possibly including, painting, maintenance, construction and more! You will also spend time with the resident children and give them a chance to have some fun with some games and activities. You will also get the opportunity to connect and build relationships with the local residents.

What are the accommodations? 
Accommodations will be clean, safe, and basic. Teams typically stay in guest houses onsite.

What will we eat? 
The team will be responsible for preparing meals through the trip using supplies from a local grocery store.

What does the trip cost include? 
The trip cost covers the flight, ministry supplies, transportation, lodging, and meals on the ground. It does not include snacks, meals in the airport or on the road, or souvenirs.

REQUIREMENTs

  • Attend all team meetings - 3 meetings prior to the start of the trip and one following

  • Meet all payment deadline requirements*

  • Be at least 18 years of age or older or age 14-17 with parent/guardian accompaniment

PAYMENT Milestones

  • $180 commitment deposit upon acceptance

  • Milestone 1 - $550 This will bring your account balance to $730

  • Milestone 2 - $550 This will bring your account balance to $1,280

  • Milestone 3 - $520 Final payment to bring your account balance to $1800

*Payment deadlines must be met in order to participate in this trip.  Therefore, payments are non-refundable, and failure to meet the deadlines will result in the removal of a team member and/or the cancellation of the trip.
